About Derek

Derek Bigley graduated from Lancaster Bible College in 2018 with a degree in Communication and minor in Sport Management. After six years of working in Communication, Marketing, and HR, he decided to invest in his passions and pursue work as an actor and singer, while continuing to use his skills as a videographer and designer to create content for himself and others.

Derek has been performing almost his entire life and acting since the age of 12, when he made his debut as Friedrich in The Sound of Music in a youth production. Since then, he has honed his craft through scores of roles in both film and theatre and recently began studying Meisner techniques under Barbara Beneville. Derek has also received classical training as a singer with proficiency in a multitude of genres from Pop to Opera.
